Home Town Liquor in Braham is hosting their Annual Spring Tasting at our new center! It is held on Friday, April 4th from 5:30 to 8pm. Come for a fabulous evening of beer, liquor, wine, food and friends!
Pre-sale tickets available at Home Town Liquor starting March 14th for $10. Tickets at the door the night of tasting will be $15.
The 14,000 square foot Community Center has been carefully designed to provide a place where people can come to enjoy activities that bring families and neighbors together. It will include a large meeting area, banquet hall for reunions and wedding receptions, space for youth and senior events, business and civic group meetings, the food shelf, a library, and of course, art and educational opportunities.
The Braham Area Community Center is a 501c(3) non-profit, tax exempt entity. Since the fundraising kickoff at Braham’s Appreciation Day, June 2010, significant contributions have been secured towards the 1.7 million dollar goal. To date over 300 individuals and groups have generously donated. For every $100 donated you will receive one Honorary Share, a distinction of being an original donor for the Building Our Dream campaign. Thank You!
We ask that you consider investing in this worthwhile project for today, tomorrow and for generations to come. Remember, all donations are 100% tax deductible. Braham resident and graduate, Alice Studt, will match dollar for dollar up to $100,000!
We need your help. Please give generously. Every gift is appreciated! A group of local artists is working on designing the gift recognitions. For those wishing to give in honor or memory, Room/Gift Naming Opportunities are available (click link for enlarged view) ...

July 2013 - If you've driven out past the Community Center site, you've seen the progress made by the construction crew. The plan is to have a completed project by December 2013!
This long-awaited historic day in Braham's history brought community and project leaders, residents and the hard-working volunteers out on a very chilly day in May to celebrate the Groundbreaking of the Braham Area Community Center.
Tusen Tack, Braham’s Premier Thrift Store, and the Braham Area Community Center Task Force Committee, would like to announce groundbreaking for the Braham Area Community Center this spring with opening this fall.A large crowd gathers for the signing of the final legal documents to start construction this spring on the Braham Area Community Center. On March 21 Tusen Tack volunteers met with representatives of the city of Braham, Lakes and Pines, Initiative Foundation and Unity Bank for signing of the final legal documents necessary for starting construction.
The committee would like to thank everyone who has given a donation and/or has volunteered time for funding raising events.
Donations and fund raising events are still greatly needed to continue to fund this project. Two local Braham residents have given large donations and let’s continue to match these donations.
When you make donations and shop at Braham's Tusen Tack thrift store, you help many charitable organizations including financial support to help build the Braham Area Community Center.
Thanks to all who donate! Thanks to all who shop! Thanks to all the volunteers who make this happen!
Thanks for visiting! Together we are BUILDING OUR DREAM. To make a donation, GiveMn.org
